I am a software engineer with many years of professional experience. Areas of my main expertise and interest are data engineering, data platforms, batch and stream data processing, storage systems, data governance, distributed systems. My background is in applied mathematics and computer science. In the recent years I have been working heavily on the Lakehouse data platform at Datadog, that is being built mainly on top of Apache Iceberg, Apache Spark, and Trino.
